Bosenkan established in 1818 is located in Gero Onsen, one of the three major hot springs in Japan, along with Kusatsu and Arima.

Bosenkan is a long-established Ryokan with 20 tatami mats size open-air bath boasting 250 tons of famous hot spring water and also a place where you can feel the relaxing atmosphere receiving a beaming smile and warm hospitality.

The female bath with a wide single glass window allows you to see the scenery from inside out.
The male open-air bath area has a sleeping bath where you can look up at the starring sky and heal the tiredness of your trip.

Garden

Our 1,100 tsubo Japanese garden shows different expression according to the season.
From the garden you can overlook the cityscape of Gero and the Hida River flowing through the city in a panoramic view.
In the garden, varicolored carps swim in the pond and foot bath filled with Gero hot spring water is there for you to relax.
Please enjoy strolling through our magnificent Japanese garden.

Facilities on site

The hotel's popular charter private open air bath is 1 room 45 minutes 2,160 yen.
You can choose woods bath or Rock bath when you check-in.(The day of reservation arrival order）
*People with tattoos are not allowed to bathe in the public bath, so we recommend a private open-air bath.

In addition, the facilities are enriched also in the room where kids can play,
the karaoke bar and the night service restaurant.
